With extensive expertise in finance, law, and public and international affairs, Baldo Sanso has worked as a consultant, negotiator, and attorney in Italy, Venezuela, and the United States. Baldo
Sanso obtained three Master's degrees and a law degree, studying in ny Caracas, and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
In 1986, Baldo Sanso began his wide-ranging education at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas. For the following six years, he studied within the university's faculty of Political Science
and Law. After graduating with a Juris Doctor, Sanso moved to America and attended the Columbia University School of Law in ny, graduating before returning to study at the Universidad Catolico Andres
Bello. There, he obtained a Master in Financial Law and Taxation. He specialized in corporate strategy, international economics, regression analysis, and cost-benefit analysis.

Economic Development Corporation (CAF), Sanso served as an in house legal counsel from 1996 to 1997. Sanso
worked briefly as financial analyst and an attorney at KPMG Corporate Finance in Caracas before moving to Italy, spending the next six years working for Bain & Company in Milan and Rome.
Baldo Sanso served as Assistant at the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum to both the Minister and President and returned to Venezuela. He was responsible for managing bidding procedures for the
state's gas and oil reservoirs at Petroleos de Venezuela, S.A., as well as handling mergers and acquisitions. During his tenure he managed the Carabobo Project, a multi-billion-dollar initiative to
come up with the Orinoco oil belt.
In his spare time, Baldo Sanso enjoys playing football rock climbing, and kitesurfing. He is Italian, fluent in English, Spanish, and trilingual.
